Kerry Washington and Steven Yeun have joined the cast of Ben Affleck‘s upcoming movie!
On Monday (February 10), it was announced that the two Emmy-winning stars will be appearing in the upcoming Netflix kidnapping thriller movie Animals, which Ben, 52, will be starring in and directing
Written by Connor McIntyre with revisions by Billy Ray, “the crime thriller concerns a mayoral candidate and his wife whose son is kidnapped. Surrounded by plenty of enemies, political and otherwise, the husband and wife have no choice but to get their hands dirty in order to save their son,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Keep reading to find out more…Matt Damon was originally expected to star in the movie, but it was recently announced that Ben will be replacing him. The longtime friends will be producing Animals through their Artists Equity banner.
Production is scheduled to begin in April in Los Angeles.
